Boasting some of the highest peaks in the Andes, Argentina's natural wonders are stunning and abundant. You'll run out of adjectives for describing the dramatic panoramas of stunning lakes, untouched snowy peaks and towering spires.
Patagonia is the sparsely populated region right at the southern tip of Argentina and Chile. Here you'll be spellbound by Cerro Fitzroy, Periot Moreno Glacier, Torres del Paine and Tierra del Fuego. Don't miss the opportunity to say you've hiked on the famous W route in Argentina, which will take you to Grey Lake and Glacier.
"The drama of the carvings of the Perito Moreno Glacier and the towering Torres del Paine is a privilege to experience. We were lucky to have enjoyed perfect blue skies, an international group that have become real friends and a group leader who brought the whole experience together expertly." Sandra Arch, Ultimate Patagonia, 2016
Apart from magnificent world class hiking and exploration, Argentina stands out for some of the finest cuisine in the world and a vibrant, enthusiastic culture. Here you'll find the best steak dinners of your life, washed down with famed Argentinian wine, passionate tango dancers and devoted football fans.
The best time to visit Patagonia is between November and March, when it is slightly warmer and there are longer days. In November and December you'll still be able to see the beautiful spring flowers and in March, the landscape will begin to change to delightful autumn colours.
