Cuba adventure holidays
This vibrant island offers all that you would expect from a Caribbean paradise, sun sea and music with a distinctly latin twist. From the faded grandeur of old Havana and Trinidad to the tobacco fields of Vinales, the jungles of Las Terrazas and waterfalls of Pinar del Rio. As well as the idealic long white sandy beaches and warm turquoise tropical seas. It is impossible to miss reminders of its revolutionary past and the personification of its former leader - Fidel Castro and influence of the iconic Che Guevara.

Adventure holidays in Cuba
Cuba is a fascinating mix of colonial cities, stirring atmosphere, white sandy beaches, intricate cultures, thick plantations and interesting history. The cities pulsate with culture and colour, while classic cars cruise by you. Head to the countryside and enjoy a side of Cuba not shown on TV - mountain ranges, plains filled with sugar cane, cycling tracks and hiking trails.
It's a country that changed little over 40 years and is now getting to grips with a faster pace. At the moment some parts are changing so quickly that a visit from one year to the next can show you a whole different Cuba.
"Havana is everything I had hoped it would be. Colourful, vibrant and full of music with so much history it's in the same league as many capitals around the world. The Cuban people are like Cuba and are warm, welcoming and friendly. I feel very privileged to have been able to visit this wonderful island." Jacquleine Bemmer, Cuba Cycling Adventure, 2016
Home-stays aren't uncommon, with many locals renting out rooms of their own private homes to tourists. It?s the best insight you?ll get into the culture and brilliant way to experience Cuban hospitality and humour.
The best time to visit Cuba is between November and March and in July and August. Hurricane season is between June and November, where there is a much higher chance of rain than over the winter and spring months.
