Even though it is home to the world’s most famous expedition – Mount Everest, but there’s also the opportunity to stay in warm and comfortable lodges, to take accessible day treks, head off on mountain bikes, white-water raft, wander around ancient towns and go wildlife spotting. You can even take a flight over Mount Everest.
Nepal is the cultural centre on the Himalayas, and travellers often cite a spiritual connection with the country. There are festivals and parades for all occasions, year round celebrations for you to get involved with. Many of these customs ot back to the Hindu, Buddhist or other religious traditions. There are more than 100 ethnic groups in Nepal that speak over 92 languages between them.
