Gorilla Trekking Safaris in Rwanda
Rwanda is one of just two places in the world where you can enjoy the privilege of tracking gorillas. Nothing can prepare you for just how special your first gorilla sighting is, and the experience is completed in Rwanda with the stunning backdrop of the Virugas volcanic mountain range. As if seeing gorillas isn't enough, this beautiful small country also brings you green-clad mountains, untouched rainforests, serene freshwater lakes, colourful market towns and more wonderful wildlife in Nyungwe National Park.

The success of tourism in Rwanda over the past 10 years has seen it become recognised for far more than past that scarred the beautiful country in the early 90s. It?s been an amazing transformation, and while it?s still an under the radar destination, today the country has rebuilt its economy and has a very promising future.
Of course, nearly all tourists come to Rwanda for the astonishing chance to track mountain gorillas through the jungles, forests and mountains. It?s an animal encounter like no other. The calm and peace of the country is a memory that many bring back with them, and there?s no better place to experience that than in a lodge in the jungle. As well as gorillas, which have been privy to one of the world?s best conservation successes, the national parks in Rwanda are home to 13 other primates, giraffes, elephants and hippos.
It?s not just all about the wildlife experiences though. There are volcanoes to be climbed and caves to be explored, and the 227km Congo Nile trail to conquer by hiking or biking.
